Hello Family and Friends. This is Estelle speaking. My Mother is Sis Yungor. You know her as someone who is always smiling, someone with a big heart that is always open & always ready to lend a helping hand. For 30+ years she has been catering, sewing, baking wedding cakes, and organizing various event across multiple communities of which she is an active and enthusiastic member. She is the church secretary at her church her in Philadelphia, Victory Harvest, where volunteers regularly as well. She is a member of a life share program, through which she opened her home to help care for a blind member of the community. Over the last two years, Mr. Ron or (Rocking Ron as they call him at church) has also become a member of our family.

Quinette Mbakellah, my cousin who also lived in the home with my mother is another member of your community. Quinette has dedicated her life to helping those less fortunate. Many of you will know her as the founder of International Children's Alert Inc, a 501c3 non-profit organization which as been providing quarterly aid to Liberian children in small villages.

Yesterday, Friday November 12th, 2021. My mother and cousin were struck with a gut wrenching tragedy. In the late morning, her neighbors's home, where she lived with her niece Quinette and Mr. Ron, caught fire, igniting a blaze that would consume not only my mother's home, but another neighbors home as well. More than 3 fire departments were dispatched to battle the flames. Three homes, GONE! In less than 2hours. We thank God that no one was severely injured, we send out prayers out to the fire fighter who was injured during the incident, and we thank them all for their service.

My mother is now displaced without a home and without any other her possessions, and winter is fast approaching. In the blaze she lost two sewing machines, hundreds of yards of imported fabrics, thousands of dollars of catering and bakery equipment, all these things she used to make a living for herself and to enrich her community.

I'm asking everyone to please donate to help my mother and cousin with any size donation that they can to help them relocated and start to rebuild their lives after this horrific tragedy. Any amount helps.
Thank you all so much. God bless you and keep you.
