House Fire: Please Help Mother of Beloved Friend

Gary’s mother Lana survived a house fire at Gary’s childhood home at the coast in Wanchese, NC on April 28th. Thankfully Lana was able to get out of the house in time, but she is in need of support. The insurance company is not covering the loss.

Gary and Lana’s family have lived in Wanchese on Roanoke Island for over a century and a half. The land where Gary grew up, where Lana’s home was, has been in their family for generations. Lana is a sweet, beautiful lady who is 71 years young and looking forward to many more years living and working at the coast. Gary’s great-grandmother in the photo lived to be 104!
