House Fire Fresno

My name is Ashley, and I started this fundraiser for my Aunt who's house caught fire around 12am on the morning of Wednesday December 30th. As of right now the cause of the fire is still undetermined, but my Aunt and her neighbors reported hearing loud popping noises just before the blaze started. She was able to make it out of the home safely (thank God), but she just made it out with the clothes on her back (PJs and a Robe). As of right now we believe she has lost just about everything from her purse to a collection of priceless dolls that she has collected over the years.

We are very glad that she is safe, but while she is worried about rebuilding her home and finding a place to stay I know that insurance is not only slow, but does not always cover everything in the meantime. My Aunt is a retired teacher and any amount you can give, even just a $1, will help get her back on her feet faster. Due to COVID restrictions a lot of assistance available is mainly just food or small amounts of cash, as donations of clothing and housing are scarce or even not allowed at some local organizations.

I know we have a great community locally and I'm not even sure how far and wide this may reach, but thank you in advance to anyone who can lend a helping hand and give during this time of need. If you are unable to give monetarily, just a simple share of this fundraiser can help get the word out to those that can.
