House Fire Aid For Michelle & Newfie Dogs

Michelle Gordon is the beloved owner of Bydand Newfoundlands, a dog breeder of the highest regard. On Thursday Oct 6, 2022 Michelle phoned a friend and told him "My house is on fire, it's a total loss. Family and animals are safe."

The Gordon family suffered the complete loss of their home to a raging house fire and Michelle is now sleeping in an unheated barn with no electricity or water to be with her dogs to tend and comfort them.

Lacking the most basic necessities, Michelle and family are doing everything they can do to continue to provide for the dogs, no matter the circumstances.

"Life is tough right now, but we'll make it through" says Michelle. "Some moments are harder than others, but the bottom line is we are alive, human and animals."

October in North Dakota is no time to do without warm clothes, footwear, heat or running water. Michelle and her family lost everything!

Michelle's devotion to her dogs doesn't come as a surprise to anyone who meets her. She has made it her mission to provide so many with the companionship and love of the dogs she has bred. These dogs enrich our lives as family members with their antics and friendship.
