HOUSE FIRE 125 HORTON LOST EVERYTHING

My names Susan Worden. I lived at 125 Horton st Lansing mi until the morning of 6/22 at 9am when a house fire devoured my entire home and everything I and my family of 6 along with it. My husband and I sleep in the basement in our room. I heard the alarm at about 845 this morning and went to see what it was. My dining room toward my backdoor was in 10 foot flames I ran back into the kitchen shouting to my husband the house was on fire and we needed to get the kids. I then tried to run up to the 2nd floor where all the kids rooms were. The smoke was to thick, I ran out to try to have them jump from the roof. My 2nd oldest son ran out first. (My youngest was still awake and bravely woke his brother up and got him to get out.) Then my youngest son, then my daughter and my oldest son had to jump from his window by the roof. The house is being tore down. Tomorrow the fire Marshall's said there is no saving anything. We sadly lost our pets. Our dogs drago and max and our 2 ferrets smokey and bandit. I'm just happy that my husband and I, brother in law who stayed the night and all my children got out safely. We were all checked out at sparrow. My 2 younger children were transferred to uofm Mott children's hospital to be watched overnight because there was smoke inhalation pretty badly. They expect to make a full recovery.

Thats what happened, they will not be able to go into the house to find out how or where it started. But we lost everything. We lived in this house for 12 years together and I lived in it my entire life outside of 3 years. Any donations will be greatly appreciated and will help us get back on our feet.
