House Collapse-A Family in Need!

Donation protected
Hello, I am a teacher at Hampstead Hill Academy and I am writing this campaign on behalf of one of my students and her family. It saddens me to see such a wonderful family going through such a difficult time. Any help you can provide whether it be monetary, or simply sharing this campaign, would be much appreciated.

As many of you may have heard, during the wind storm on March 2nd, an abandoned building in Highlandtown (near Laughing Pint) collapsed.  Though that building was abandoned, the house that it landed on was not.  When the building collapsed, it fell on top of the home next door, causing the roof of that home to cave in. Luckily, the family was not home at the time and therefore nobody was injured.

The house however, was immediately labeled as "dangerous" and no one has been allowed to enter the home since this incident.  This means that the family has not been able to collect any of their belongings; no important paperwork, no photos, no valuables, no clothes... nothing.  If entrance is ever granted, after all this rain and snow, any belongings that were salvageable will most certainly be destroyed.  In addition, they do not have renter's insurance and the landlord has been unresponsive.

Please share and/or donate towards this campaign and help this family get back on their feet.
