Hot Dog USA's Last Fusion

Hello family, friends, and fans,
We are members of Hot Dog USA; a close-knit, competitive jump rope team from Kirkland, WA. The purpose of this fundraiser is to send five of us to Tokyo, Japan for the 2018 Double Dutch Contest World (DDCW).
Our journey together began five years ago when we travelled to Tokyo to compete at the 2013 DDCW. It was at this competition that we established a name for ourselves as an elite double dutch team by becoming the first American team to win at DDCW.
The past five years have been a rollercoaster we hoped would never end, but we now realize we are reaching the end of our tracks. Careers, marriage, and big moves have changed up the team, but our goal remains the same: before we “hang up the ropes,” our dream is to return to Tokyo for one last show.
To do this, we need your help. Our expenses for this trip consist of:
-$1300 per airline ticket x 5 tickets = $6500 in airfare
-$333 hotel accommodations for 5 persons per night x 3 nights = $999 hotel costs
-$90 competition fee
-TOTAL: $7589
We have set a goal of $5000. This goal, along with additional avenues we are exploring, will hopefully be enough to finance our trip.
DDCW takes place on March 11th with a registration deadline on January 15th, so we hope to have made some big strides in our fundraising efforts by then.
