HOTC Kenya Team - Katie O'Loughlin

My church, Heart of the City, has had a vision to advance a missional arm since it was planted. It is one of the reasons I decided to make this church my home and my community. Now, 3 years after I began attending, I have received the opportunity to travel to Meru, Kenya with a team from HOTC. The church and its members has recently sponsored an entire village through Compassion International, and I now sponsor a young boy in this village. The purpose of this trip is for the people in Kenya to meet the church that has sponsored their village, and for us members going to meet the kids we now sponsor to continue building relationships. We view those in Meru as family, and it is purely a "love on our people" trip. I am beyond excited to meet this little boy that I write to and receive letters from. We will be traveling there from May 31-June 8, but the funds will need to be turned in by April. This cost covers airfare, accommodations, food/drink, transportation, and guidance from the Compassion leaders. We are fundraising as a team, but I also need to receive enough funding as an individual to cover the costs of this experience. Thank you in advance for your support, prayers, and love!
