Governor Cooper has extended Phase Two for an additional 5 weeks! While we understand the need to be safe, we DO NOT understand why restaurants, breweries, and distilliries are able to be open. The Hot Tin Roof opened July 3rd, 2013 under Mark Bateman with Len Fuqua & Jay Parker. Over the years, owners came and went, but Mark remains as our founder and original owner!
We have been closed now for over 16 weeks, which is no one's fault. We are as anxious as you are for things to get back to normal, but #weareinthistogether and know that it is important to be safe in the reopen of local business.
While we are closed, many bills continue to arrive and in fact, we face back payment of at least four months of rent. Reopen will likely be under an occupancy restriction which will make it very difficult to recover quickly. This is why we ask for your support.
Over the last four months, our staff has VOLUNTEERED their time to make BIG changes to our outdoor area as well as improve much of the indoors. We are extremely excited about our ability to host your parties and events! We see a lot of opportunity to offer sponsorship as well! If nothing else, we can pre-sell you a gift card, at a discount, so that you are ready to roll when we reopen. Over the next two weeks, we will roll out these opportunities, so watch for more updates.
