Host parent not getting paid from EDUBoston

EDUBoston, a company that helps international students by matching them with local host families and paying the families for their stay, closed down without notice. Which means host families are now stuck footing the bill all by themselves. My work colleague is hosting a young girl from China and just found out EDUBoston is cutting off all funding. She volunteers as a child advocate in the court system and was depending on the money so she could continue being the voice for young children that are too often silent. She has no idea how she is going to pay her bills, but she has already pledged to keep her overseas student here. She doesn't want that young girl's life to be uprooted, especially right now while trying to take her tests and apply to colleges here. She has no idea I'm doing this and would never agree to such a thing, but I believe people like her are special and really show others how to be great human beings. I just want her to be able to keep doing the good things that she does for children that really need it, so please donate to help her with living expenses after EDUBoston reneged on its financial promise.
