Hospitalized due to COVID - Help with Bills

Hello Everyone! 

I hate to be making this fundraiser because I am never one to like asking for help and neither is my family but hard times call for swallowing pride. My Stepdad Gary has been in Vanderbilt hospital with COVID related breathing issues since November 21,2020.

When he was admitted his oxygen level was at 50 and since then it has been a daily battle where he takes one step forward and five step backs.

This was a big hit and shock to all of us as we were the family that wore masks, sanitized our hands, and were as cautious as we could be.

Gary is the main support system in our family and has always worked very hard and joked around / played even harder. It’s been so hard for Mom and I to see him like this where he is isolated, weak, and barely able to talk. Gosh what I would give to have him call and pester me right now. Anyone who was ever friends with me growing up knew my parents and how they treat everyone like family no matter what.

The stress of missing her other half is already enough on my mom but I know that money is going to become an even bigger issue soon as Gary was the only source of income. He’s one of the top owner-operator truck drivers you’ll ever meet and I know even in his altered state right now he is probably also worried about my mom and the bills.

That’s why I’d like to ask for our friends and loved ones to please consider donating if you can. My parents have done more for others than anyone I’ve ever met and now is the time I really hope some of that good karma can come back to them so that it’s one less hurdle for them to get through.
