Hornsby Family Medical Fund

The Hornsby family has had some pretty rotten luck lately!

Back in April I managed to cut myself shaving, which developed into an MRSA infection that landed me in the emergency room. I was in the hospital for 3 days getting pumped full of IV antibiotics. I'm all recovered from this now, but the hospital bills have come in and I owe about $2k, after insurance.

Shortly after that, my dog Willow needed to get emergency dental work done after knocking a tooth loose while playing with a Boxer 10x her size. Since she was going to be under sedation already, I opted to get a strange, angry looking mass on her back removed at the same time. She ended up having to have 4 teeth pulled, and the mass was diagnosed as cancerous. Soft tissue sarcoma, type 2. The tumor was removed successfully and Willow appears to be cancer free. The bill for her surgery, x-rays, doctor visits, etc. came to around $3.5k, though that will increase since she now needs quarterly x-rays. There's a 20% chance that the cancer could come back in her lungs within the next 3 years.

Through all this, Xander (Willow's brother) was unable to get his much needed dental work done because I just cannot afford it with everything else that's been happening.

I really don't like asking for this kind of help, but there's no way I can pay for all this on my own. I'm trying to raise $6k to pay for this. Any extra after all the bills are settled will go towards Xander's dental work and Willow's furture x-rays.

These pups mean the world to me. They're my family and I love them to pieces! Any help you could give would be greatly appreciated.
