Hope for Ryan

Ryan Harman is a 33 year old husband and father. In July 2013 he received the devastating diagnosis of ALS (commonly known as Motor Neurone Disease in the UK). For those who are not familiar with this horrendous disease, the prognosis is bleak and there is currently no treatment available.
Ryan's ALS is progressing. His motor skills, arms and legs are weak and his speech has recently been affected too.
Ryan and his wife Natalie - who is 8 months pregnant, have researched treatments worldwide and have found a private hospital in Beijing- China, WU MEDICAL CENTRE who are treating patients with Stem Cell Treatment and getting promising results. www.unistemcells.com will provide further info.
The couple have also been speaking to another victim of this disease from Iowa, US who visited the Beijing Hospital for treatment last month and can already see some improvements.
The cost of the treatment and flights is around £20,000! This is not promising a cure but some hope of prolonging Ryan's life, improving his symptoms and slowing down the rapid progression of this awful disease.
The USA and Israel have ongoing trials in stem Cell Treatment but sadly we are years away from this being approved due to strict laws and FDA approval, and unfortunately time is not on Ryan's side. Therefore this trip to China is his last hope and a lifeline for Ryan and his family.
