Hope for Johnny

Como ya saben a Johnny le amputaron su pierna en el mes de abril de 2018 y aún hoy en el mes de agosto, no ha cicatrizado y sigue supurando. Estuvo hospitalizado por 16 días y los valores le mejoraron, pero aun así no está bien. Tanto la albúmina como la hemoglobina están bastante bajas, por ello y por su condición de diabético y de su hígado, es muy lenta su recuperación.


 
Johnny está dando todo lo que puede para seguir adelante, realiza ejercicios a diario, con constancia y perseverancia para fortalecer los músculos de la pierna, muñón y de los brazos, así mismo ejercicios para lograr el equilibrio. Poco a poco y con la ayuda de la andadera ha dado pasitos.


 
Para continuar con su terapia necesita tratamiento para subir los valores (Albumina Humana, Eritropoyetina, antibióticos), continuar con la toma del Nexavar (para el cáncer del Hígado) que aún no lo facilitan en la farmacia de alto costo de Caracas, Venezuela, realizar limpieza diaria del muñón (Gasas, Guantes, Solución16, Adhesivos micropores, iodo…) y Cuidar su diabetes (Insulina).


 Como ya saben, los ahorros y seguro médico fueron utilizados en la hospitalización, punción  y embolización de su hígado. Es por ello que nos vemos nuevamente como familia en la necesidad de recurrir a ustedes en busca de ayuda. Le han realizado diferentes exámenes, limpiezas y curas del muñón, muchos tratamientos con antibióticos, diuréticos, entre otros para así poder estabilizarlo y que sus valores se encuentren en mejor estado. Nuestra condición económica se ha visto afectada por el alto costo de los medicamentos que de por de vida debe administrar. También, sabemos que cada día los precios en Venezuela suben y el acceso a las medicinas es muy incierto.

 ----ACTUALIDAD----

Johnny se encuentra hospitalizado nuevamente debido a la infección del muñón que no se logró controlar!!! Se encuentra actualmente en tratamiento con antibióticos intravenosos y albumina, poco a poco le han bajado los glóbulos blancos pero aun la albumina se encuentra un poco baja.

 Hoy más que nunca la lucha continúa, seguimos trabajando por su recuperación y  por la sanación de su hígado.

Johnny sigue expresando que en cuanto se recupere y pueda continuar con su vida, su mayor deseo es ayudar a que salga adelanta todo persona con alguna discapacidad y colaborar a todo aquel quien, como el, está guerreando por su vida.

As you know Johnny lost his leg in the month of April of 2018 and even today in the month of August It has not healed and it continues to fester. He was hospitalized for 16 days and his values improved, but even so he is not well. Both albumin and hemoglobin are quite low, for this reason and by his diabetic and liver condition, its recovery has been very slow.

Johnny is giving everything he can to move forward; he exercises on a daily basis with constancy and perseverance to strengthen the muscles of the leg stump and arms, as well as exercises to achieve balance. Slowly and with the help of a Walker, he has taken few steps.

To continue with his therapy treatment we need to upload his values (human albumin, erythropoietin, antibiotics), continue taking Nexavar (for his liver cancer) that still they do not facilitate it in the high cost Pharmacy of Caracas, Venezuela, daily cleaning of the stump (gauze, gloves, soluction16, microspores adhesive , iodine...) and take care of his diabetes (insulin).

As you know, savings and health insurance were used in hospitalization, puncture and embolization for his liver. This is why we are once again on the need to turn to you for help. They have taking him different exams, cleanings, and cures of the stump, many treatments with antibiotics, diuretics, among others, to be able to stabilize him and get his values to a better condition. . Also, we know that every day prices in Venezuela go up, and access to medicines is very uncertain.

Johnny is hospitalized again due to infection of the stump that was unable to control! For a second time he is currently in treatment with intravenous antibiotics and albumin, Thank God that gradually his white blood cells have decreased, but still his albumin is a little low.

Today more than ever the struggle continues, we continue to work for his recovery and for the healing of his liver.

Johnny continues expressing that when he recovers and continue with his life, his greatest wish is to help get ahead all the people with disabilities and help anyone who, like him, is fighting for his life.
