Hope's Assistance Dog

Donation protected
My beautiful girl, Hope. Hope, 14 who has Autism and communication difficulties, was recently lured to the park by a friend in her Christmas PJs with the promise of snacks.

When she got there a group of 4 teenage boys and one teenage girl surrounded her. The girl pulled her to the floor and kicked her in the head several times. One of the boys filmed the attack on their mobile phone where they shared it to social media.

After the attack she received a message from her Friend saying "haha did you enjoy that because I did. Thats what you get for talking about my mum"

Hope sustained several injuries to her head, ear, hand and neck. Due to this attack Hope is suffering from anxiety and is very jumpy. The only things she really is cheered up by is dogs and chocolate.

We have been looking at options for a service dog to assist with Hopes autism and anxiety however all charities offering this service stop at age 10 so she is too old to benefit from the support and confidence a specially trained dog can give her. The only option we have is to purchase a dog ourselves and access a dog training course through Dogs for Good.

Due to the current lockdown situation we are unable to fund this ourselves. Since we have shared Hopes story we have been asked about how people can help her and this is what she has asked for contributions towards.
