Hello my name is Bethany Evans and on Feb 25th 2023 I gave birth to a stillborn little girl called Hope Luna-Tracey Hill at 6 months into my pregnancy.
She was born with a chromosome short and was diagnosed with "Turners Syndrome" inside my belly. Most babies usually survive turners syndrome and live happy life's. Unfortunately, this wasn't the case with Hope because of her supposed "father" who I wont name due to the abusive nature of his behaviour. A few months went on since finding out about the diagnosis and he wanted nothing to do with a "disabled child" and walked out of our life's. This was until new years 2022 when he rang me crying while he was drunk with the typical words of "I love you" etc. Being the kind hearted person I am, I decided to get out from my bed and drive to him, I also rang his parents to let them know he had contacted me and was really drunk. When I got to him he refused to put his seatbelt on so I had no choice but to leave him their in the town centre and drove back home to my flat. He was waiting for me in a bush and as I opened my front door he pushed me from behind and I landed onto my belly. Following my next few appointments, I got told that she had no ammonitic fluid which caused me to be regularly motioned for her heartbeat.
On February 22nd 2023, I got told she had no heartbeat and I would need to take a tablet to go into labour and give birth to her. I gave birth to her on the 24/02/2023 with only my mother by my side.
After two years of grieving and coming to terms with the situation/events that led up to her being stillborn I've finally had the courage to go look at headstones for my beautiful baby girls resting place. We have made her look beautiful but now the finishing touch is somewhere properly with her name on. I know a lot of people are going through cost of living crisis currently but any donations will be appreciated. Unfortunately, I'm unable to work due to a heart condition and multiple other illnesses including Crohn's disease.
Due to my very limited income and the cost of living day to day I have managed to save around £300 at the moment, I have applied for a few grants but only one has accepted me and offered £200 towards the cost but this still is just not enough for even a basic headstone, I've have attached a few pictures of the headstone I'm thinking of getting but still have not chose one yet. I would just love to be able to sit with her and look back on our 6 short but special months together and a beautiful headstone would be the final finishing touch to her grave.
Any spare money will be donated to the butterfly room at Kingsmill hospital
which allows family's to grief their child.
