Are you a graduate, looking for a job, and have been rejected 1000 times due to “lack of experience”? Did you work hard with high hopes and dreams of working in the science industry after graduating? Only to find that companies are mostly hiring those with a job, an internship or volunteer experience. We know what that is like. We know it’s difficult to do a part time job, get work or volunteering experience while attending lectures, doing lab reports and preparing for exams. This meant we did not get the luxury to gain any valuable type of laboratory experience to help land that graduate job we were promised at uni. No one told us we needed a bit of luck and many connections to land that first job! If you are in the same position and have not been lucky enough to have connections to help get that job, this lab will be the place for you! The laboratory will provide molecular genetics and cytogenetics testing. To achieve this we are asking for donation as little as possible in order to offer any scientist across the globe the newest, most innovative and highest quality genetics lab globally, regardless of their age, ethnicity, gender or experience as long as you have a burning passion for science and are ready to contribute in order to make a difference. With your help slowly we can do something about it. People like myself with the right qualification, knowledge and love for science are losing hope due to the lack of help/ opportunities available specially for young people with a drive and passion for science and desire to make a difference. For example, many of my friends have science related undergraduate and postgraduate degrees, even a Phd and yet they have not been able to use their knowledge and skills in those fields to make a difference hence why most of them have lost hope and are stuck doing retail jobs. This is truly sad and something needs to be done to break this pattern. The science field makes a major contribution to our lives, modern diagnostic testing helps people get the right treatment they need to improve their quality of life. Every graduate deserves to be given the opportunity to bring their passion to life, to make a contribution to Science and make a difference to our lives. We need your help to do this.
