THE INJURY
Toby was severely injured in a work-related accident January 30th, 2019 when a tree fell on him pushing his head and upper body into the pavement. He cannot work and has sustained multiple injuries which will present many difficult hurdles for him in his recovery process. So far he has incurred paralysis on left side of his face, permanent hearing loss of left ear, vertigo, double vision due to his traumatic brain injury, pinched carotid artery and a torn rotator cuff on his right shoulder.
HIS FAMILY
Simona is Toby’s wife of 9 years and just this last January had their first baby. Simona has primarily been a stay-at-home mom since the birth of their new little girl Izabella and continues to seek a job to help support their family since Toby’s accident.
THE GOAL
Toby’s parents Dan and Ardy Quast and brother Nick have continued to support Toby and his family financially, emotionally and with much prayer. Their goal is to raise enough money to help cover some of Toby’s many medical bills, his family’s rent on their apartment, car insurance, utilities and childcare over the next year as Toby struggles to recover from his injuries and surgeries.
