Hope for our sister and friend

On December 6th, 2017 my sister, Lynette, could no longer see hope. Our journey as a family since is a journey I wish on no one. Watching someone you desperately love feel they have no reason to go on is heartwrenching. However it has forced me to realize many things. First that our access to adequate, faith-based non-addiction based treatment centers in Canada are virtually non-existant. Second that I greatly struggle at asking for help and it has taken a desperate situation for me to learn that it is okay to receive and not just be the giver.
We have found an amazing treatment center in Edmonds, Washington that has room for Lynette starting on Monday (Dec. 18th). Because of the instability of the situation either Lori or I will be with her during her treatment stay of minimum four weeks to supervise her nights. Our sister is worth so much to us however we do not have the funds for this treatment on our own. If God places it on your heart to help then we graciously accept, if God places it on your heart to cover us in prayer we are forever grateful.
