I'm reaching out to you with a heavy heart to share the story of my cousin, Melissa Pungitore and her 13 year old daughter, Autumn Steeves-Pungitore, who recently survived a life-altering car crash on January 6, 2024, when their vehicle rolled over on Rt 109 in Dover, Ma.
The accident left them with extensive injuries. Melissa is now facing the challenges of a brain bleed, broken ribs, hematomas, and a knee injury. Meanwhile, her daughter Autumn, a brand new student at Millis Middle School, is bravely recovering from a broken nose, broken ankle, fractured teeth requiring oral surgery, a gash on her forehead, injured collarbone, and a concussion.
It breaks our hearts to see such a devastating accident occur to such amazing human beings. Melissa is the epitome of strength and selflessness. She has always been the hardest working person in the room, always putting the needs of others before her own. Autumn, the newest addition to Millis Middle School, personifies sweetness and kindness, her heart brimming with boundless love for both family and friends.
Now, in the face of overwhelming challenges, we're asking the community to rally together and support this incredible woman and her resilient daughter as they grapple with the long road to recovery which lay ahead of them.
Our goal in creating this go fund me is to alleviate the financial burden on this family, allowing them to focus on healing and rebuilding their lives. Every contribution, no matter how small, will make a meaningful impact. Thank you
