https://www.kalb.com/content/news/Natchitoches-police-investigate-shooting-that-left-one-man-shot-in-neck-563415191.html Jirah Lyons is 20 years old. Currently in the hospital fighting for her life after being randomly shot by an unknown assailant on October 18, 2019. She is a beautiful and caring daughter raised in a christian environment, a loving friend and a true giver from her heart. Jirah is a blessing to many. She was paying her own way working multiple jobs before the incident, one being a tutor. Jirah missed the 90-day probation period by a few days which would have given her medical benefits to help cover some of the costs. She will need help with medical bills and continued medication as she lies in a hospital bed with multiple life-threatening injuries following this life altering situation. She is still fighting to survive and as she become more aware of the injuries caused by the bullet she wonders why this happen to her because 1) she doesn't bother anyone and 2) she freely helps everyone that needs her assistance. The family appreciates any amounts donated and all of the funds will go toward Jirah's medical needs.
Jirah is the daughter of Forsyth native Calvin Lyons and Myoshi Lyons of Louisiana. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Florence Lyons Gresham of Forsyth Georgia and Alfra Ellis of Louisiana.
