Hope for Claire

My very good friend has been struggling for a long time. She has recently been diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder and continues to struggle with thoughts of suicide. She is currently unemployed and therefore on a 16 month waitlist to receive government assistance for the specific therapy program she requires. Friends and family have pooled together what we can to help her get into a private treatment facility sooner, however we are still in need of some support in order to come up with all of the funds. 

Persons with Borderline Personality Disorder and much more likely to commit suicide, which is why it is imperative that we get her into treatment as soon as possible. My biggest fear is that she will not make it through the 16 month waiting period. 

She is such a loving and caring person. I truly believe with support she can overcome this disease and live a fulfilling life. We talk about Mental Health more often now, but we truly need to start supporting those that are suffering. 

Any assistance would be so greatly appreciated and would be going towards helping save a life.
