Hope Africa - Uganda Story Film

Help me make a film for Hope Africa that will tell their story and bring on new sponsors to grow the program.

To fund a film project that will share the story of how Hope Africa is providing a great education at local schools for children in Uganda. Join me in helping share the story of these amazing children and how this partnership is helping provide for some of their biggest needs.

Many needy children in rural Africa feel as though they are on the outside looking in, knowing that without a source of income, succeeding in school will be difficult. Even if they attend a government school, there are fees for uniforms, exams, books and supplies. More often than not, children are then sent home at exam time because these fees have not been paid. Once a child is sponsored, his or her life changes drastically. Instead of struggling to participate regularly in school, they receive practical help and an excellent education. Hope Africa International pays attention to four aspects of child development for a holistic approach: academic, physical, social and spiritual. Spiritual development is a core component, through regular times of prayer, Bible study, and worship.

Sponsorship offers a child immediate hope, by covering the practical costs of a healthy start in life: school tuition and supplies, uniforms, a hot meal every day, and medical care as needed. Most importantly, sponsorship assures that the child has access to the eternal hope found in relationship with Jesus.

All funds raised through this campaign will fund the airfare and expenses for me as I travel to Uganda with a team from Hope Africa to film and share the story what this partnership is accomplishing there.

I am volunteering all my time and equipment to see this project happen but need your help getting there.

Any funds raised beyond the goal of $2700 will go directly to supporting the children in Uganda and their education programs.

We leave for Uganda on October 19 and I will need to secure all funds before that point.

Hope Africa is a 501(c)(3) so all contributions made are tax deductible.

I am working directly with Hope Africa on this project and will be traveling with their team. When we get back, we will be working together to make a film that will help bring on more sponsors which will allow even more children to get a great education, be loved and cared for.
