Hoopman Family Almeda Fire Fund

Donation protected

We are raising money to help the Hoopman family after a complete and devastating loss due to the Almeda Fire in Southern Oregon . Eric is the sole caregiver to his son Stevie. Stevie is 17 years old and suffers from a chromosomal defect, craniofacial disorders, cerebral palsy and rheumatoid arthritis. He is completely dependent on his dad for even the most basic of needs.  Anyone who knows Eric knows how devoted he is to Stevie and what an amazing father he is. In addition to his special needs son, Eric also has his 5 year old granddaughter, Emma.

Currently Eric, Stevie, and Emma are staying in a double bed hotel room while waiting for their new apartment to be ready on October 5th. The expense of the room, deposits and rent on the apartment, and replacement of everything they lost in the fire is adding up quickly.

Eric had basic insurance on his mobile home but it will be time before it is processed and will not cover any of their current expenses. Yesterday he spent time at the expo gathering information and is applying for help wherever he can. This all takes time and Eric is only paid up in the hotel through Monday.  He and his family need all new replacement of items needed to make a home when they get it.

Please give if can or share! Thank you. :)
