Honour the founder of the FOFF with the 31st year

You might or might not know me I am the daughter of Tony Edwards one of the founders of the Festival of Fantastic Films an event many of us know and love and have attended to meet up with friends for the past 31 years.

For the last few years the festival has been organised and sometimes funded by Gil Lane Young an exceptionally determined man who organised the event from start to finish mostly alone.

I am extremely sad to say that unfortunately Gil passed away at home earlier this month and this huge loss has been felt by all of his friends and family.

As the daughter of sadly the only surviving member of the original committee I feel that I want to help see this event come to life to honour Gill, Dave, Harry and my Dad and all their hard work over the years.

I hope that the future remains in the hands of those attendees who wish to see the festival continue but that this will raise a little money to see this year stay in the venue that you know and love giving everyone the opportunity to see each other again.
