Honoring Mayra (10/18/59 - 04/08/20) R.I.P.

My Mother "Mayra I. Cintron" was in the hospital for the past 40+ Days for Liver Cirrhosis, Hepatorenal syndrome (HRS), & Respiratory Issues (COPD, Pneumonia, Asthma). She was admitted in Late February 2020, until her Passing on 4/08/20 @3:20 PM EST.
*Note: She did NOT have Corona Virus (COVID-19). The cause of her Death was a mix of everything mentioned from above. She was put into comfort care once her kidneys & liver started to shut down for the sake of her well being via My consent as her Health Care Proxy, my Brother's & her's. That was the only option left, since the previous attempts of Medication, Blood Transfusions, Fluid drainage, & Dialysis Treatments failed to have a positive lasting effect.
When I was on the phone with my Mother then, I asked her if she wanted to be buried or cremated, and she said "Buried. In the same cemetery as my Brother". My Uncle passed last year within his Hospital stay. He was buried on April 6th 2019.
With this GoFundMe, I hope to fulfill her wish to be buried in the same cemetery as her brother. (Who passed Last year around the same time). He was buried on April 6th 2019. Me & my Brother want to honor her memory & the positive impact she had on her Family & Friends.
You are not obligated to Donate, it is a choice entirely up to to you. However, sharing this fundraiser would help me & my family immensely. Given, we have a small time-frame to get this process done. The Hospital can only hold her body for so long. (approx. a Week)
