Honoring the Life of US Army Veteran DeMiko Nelson

It is with excruciating pain and sadness that the Family of De'Miko "Miko" Nelson that we come to ask for your help in this time of grief. De'Miko proudly served his country as a soldier in the US Army.

During a sensless act of violence, DeMiko was tragically murdered on February 13, 2024. Miko, as he was affectionally known to all who loved him, was 25 years old a young man who loved his family and moved through his short life with grace, respect and integrity. Miko would have done anything for his loved ones without batting an eye. His love of family translated into his love of basketball. He was an ambitious, driven, devoted young man who was taken while simply helping out a friend. This sensless loss has left his family devastated, especially his Mother.

In preparation for a soldier with honor the family is asking for any donations that you can find in your heart to assist with the final expenses. The family greatly appreciates anything you can give.
