Honoring the Life of Te'Ore Terry

Te’Ore Terry, a bright and shining downtown light, was found shot dead on Valentines Day 2021.
Te’Ore was the face, the heart and soul of the downtown CVS. He probably knew more downtown residents, workers and visitors than anyone else. He always gave a cheerful greeting to everyone who came into the store. He was tall, handsome, very smart, savvy and filled with the joy of human compassion, not to mention a wicked sense of humor.
Te’Ore was also a son, a brother, and a friend to many as well as this city’s beacon of light. The ambassador of everything good, fun and genuine.
As our city deals with his murder, a group of local Winston Salem artists, family and friends of Te'Ore's have banded together to create a mural in his memory in downtown Winston-Salem. Funds raised will support the art project and also to help offset his family's funeral expenses.
Left to cherish his memories are his mother, Velma Elizabeth Terry; four brothers, Troy, Te’von, Darrell, and Douglas; two sisters, Tori and Cori
