Thank you for loving and sharing all your great memories with Jason. It is with a heavy heart that we share the news that after battling COVID-19, Jason passed away on August 26th.
Jason was a beloved nurse at the CHRISTUS Spohn Hospital – Shoreline in Corpus Christi. Jason was a compassionate and kind medical professional who truly loved serving and caring for patients. For those who worked with Jason in Christus Health A6, he will always be remembered as a funny and loving guy who always engaged in conversations and always lightened up someone’s day with his big and kind smile. Jason was working on his Nurse Practitioner career and had aspirations of graduating to be able to serve and help more people.
Jason leaves behind a wonderful wife and two sons who will continue to cherish his memories. From taking them to swimming lessons to get together with friends. Jason also had a strong relationship with his brother JayJay and his sister Catherine. Sadly, his parents Jose and Cora lost a very loving son and though he has passed, they will always remember his unconditional love, laughter and generosity.
We are raising funds to support Jason’s wife Michelle, and his two children, Matthew and Joaquin during these trying times.
We are setting up a virtual viewing for families, relatives and friends from the Philippines and out of state on September 3rd and the funeral service will be on September 4th. We will share more details on the Facebook group .
We greatly appreciate all the memories that you’ve shared with Jason Joy. We will surely miss his smile, humor and love.
