Honoring Rachel: Support her family in this time of loss

Hi, my name is Grace Fisher and I am organizing this outreach to support the family of my best friend, Rachel Phillips. On April 16, Rachel passed away unexpectedly due to an unknown medical issue. Rachel was pure light and sunshine, which is why her nickname "Ray" was perfect for her. She sparkled in a way that transcended this world. She was a beacon of love and light to her family and friends. We will love and miss her forever.

Everyone who knew Rachel loved Rachel. Many of her family and friends have reached out to see how they can honor her and help support her family during this sad time. I am hoping this fundraiser can help alleviate the financial burden of funeral expenses and travel costs to and from Pocatello and Boise State while allowing her family to take the time they need away from work and school to focus on grieving and honoring Rachel's memory. Please consider any level of contribution so that we can fill their cup with love and bring them some peace of mind as they grieve their inconceivable loss.

The Phillips family appreciates all of the love and support. I encourage anyone who contributes to also share a memory or story about Ray to share with her family. We will update this page to provide service details as plans are finalized.

The Phillips family is in the process of determining what charitable organization would best fulfill Rachel's wishes for any funds collected in excess of need.
