Honoring Ashley Gaines-Cannon

We lost Ashley unexpectedly on January 28, 2021.  Ashley did not have life insurance or savings and leaves behind four young sons.

Our family is gutted and only beginning to process this loss.

Ashley was a 2003 graduate of Woodland Hills High School where she annually displayed her incredible talent for singing and acting. In 2002, she was nominated for a Gene Kelly award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in Evita and, in 2003, she was acclaimed as the Best Actress at the Gene Kelly Awards for her role as Dolly in ‘Hello Dolly”.

After high school, Ashley attended Indiana University of PA and became a Valedictorian graduate of the former Cordon Bleu Culinary School. She pursued her career as a chef at various restaurants, notably Superior Motors, Five Seasons and as an instructor for Giant Eagle Market District.
