By now, most of you have heard about the untimely passing of Viorel “Ray” Moldovan. His family and our community at large are deeply saddened by his unexpected death, but we take solace in knowing that he loved the Lord and is now in Heaven.  

Viorel “Ray” Moldovan lived an amazing life in his 58 short years, more than most do in 100 years. He had a passion for life and adventure. He passed doing what he loved, soaring in the sky. 

His influence and life’s impact still reverberates in the hearts of so many as we process his passing and reflect on his life. He helped everyone he met. He was generous with his time and resources. He inspired people. He believed in the power of words and encouragement. We are all grateful for his friendship, his influence, and his legacy. 

The Moldovan family is moved and comforted by the outpouring of love and support from friends and family, from near and afar! 

Many of you have offered to help and asked how to express your support for the Moldovan family during this tragic family event. With permission from the Moldovan family, and in lieu of flowers and gifts, we are setting this up as an opportunity for anyone who would like to participate. This support will be utilized to help with the unexpected costs and to honor his legacy, his children, and grandchildren.
