Honor Asela: A Loving Mother's Farewell

To our friends & family,

On February 4, 2025, at 9:56 pm, our beloved Asela (Ama, Doña Chela) has rested at peace with the surrounding of her seven children and grandchildren at USC Verdugo Hills Hospital. Our Chelita has been a loving wife to Salvador Saavedra, mother, grandmother & great-grandmother to her family. At this time, we uphold our faith & unity of putting her in rest as her heart of gold has always deserved. On behalf of the Saavedra family, we would like to thank everyone who has offered their love and prayers as they embark on this incredibly difficult journey of grief & healing.
