Paying Tribute to Makenna

On April 21 our beloved friend, Makenna, was driving with her three year old daughter, Sadie, when they were involved in a devastating car accident. Tragically, Makenna was killed. Sadie was seriously injured, but survived. Makenna was a wonderful mother, daughter, teacher, and friend who touched the lives of those around her. She leaves behind her three year old daughter, Sadie, whom she adored beyond description.

Makenna dedicated her life to giving Sadie a wonderful life, loving her family, having a positive impact on her students, and being the best friend one could want.

We are all devastated by the loss we feel from Makenna’s passing, and we want to help give Makenna and her family the memorial she deserves, to honor her memory, and say our last goodbyes.

We are currently asking for donations to help cover the cost of Makenna’s funeral.

Any money left will be set aside for Makenna’s daughter, Sadie.
