Hong Children Scholarship Fund

Two years ago, John was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic gastric cancer.  His doctors said he had two months to live.  Our entire community prayed over us non-stop as he overcame many obstacles relating to long-term cancer care.  Medicine and prayer kept him going waaaay beyond his initial prognosis.    On Sept 16, 2019, John passed from this life, into everlasting life with our Father in heaven.  Our twins are almost 13 years old now.    We have had many people ask us how they can help.  We would like to raise funds to help pay for their college education.  We wanted to use this platform as a tribute to John as well. 
    I met John 27 years ago in Honolulu Hawaii.  He was a pilot and I was a flight attendant for Northwest Airlines.  We were young and had our whole life ahead of us!  We took our time, traveled the world and checked the boxes on our bucket lists.  We later moved to Florida, settled down, got married, and gave birth to  beautiful boy-girl twins!   If you knew him, or flew with him, please type up a memory for us to share with our kids (you can include photos too!)  We had a huge life in Hawaii, and another well rooted one here in Northwest Florida.  Our kids will be entering college in 4 years, so any contributions will be set aside until then and will be distributed equally between them.   Thank you to all who have lent a hand to us over the past two years.  We could not have made it through everyday life without you.  As they say...it takes a village....  We are so very blessed.
