Honey's TPLO Surgery
Donation protected
In February of this year our sweet Honey Girl underwent TPLO (Tipial-plateau-leveling osteotomy) surgery on her left leg after a torn ACL. After 6 months of recovery and rehabilitation, she was doing great!
Fast forward to the end of September and all of a sudden we notice a limp on Honey's RIGHT back leg. It continued to get worse until she was hardly putting any weight on it at all.
We took her in and she did in fact tear her other ACL. She has a pretty bad bone spur on her patella as well and is in a lot of pain so we are deciding to do another TPLO surgery as soon as we can. December 23rd.
Those of you that know Chris and I, know that we believe in working hard and earning our living, which makes it very difficult to ask people for help in this situation. We are reaching out in these hard times, understanding that it has been a hard year for many others as well. The burden of this second surgery was not something that we had planned or budgeted for at all, especially in light of the Holidays and amidst this second wave of business shut downs.
We know not everyone is able to help financially and we completely understand and just ask for your love and support.
We are so so grateful for our family, friends and community.
Thank you for taking the time to read/share.
