Honey's Life Saving Surgery

If you have ever owned a dog, (especially a Border Terrier), you will know what a huge part of your family they become. They are loved just as much as human family and you would do anything to save them.  Last week,  our friend's treasured dog, Honey, became very ill.  Beautiful Honey (a very much beloved Border Terrier family pet) felt pretty worse for wear, which quite quickly went from bad to worse. A terrifying time for her owners.  An emergency trip to the vet resulted in a long drive to Cambridge from Peterborough to save Honey's life. The incredibly talented vets performed a miracle and managed to perform life-saving surgery on her and removed her gall bladder in the process.  But as we all know, vet bills don't come cheap, and her terrified owners have found themselves paying thousands towards saving her life.  As a small gesture, we are trying to raise some money for this lovely couple to pay towards their vet bill. No matter how small your donation, it could contribute to taking away some of the worries of paying for something you just cannot put a price on.  A huge thank you in advance. 30.9.20- When I started this GoFundMe page, I set the target at £100 thinking just friends would chip in a few pounds here and there! People continued to be SO generous that I ended up raising the target to £250. Then £500, then £1000, then £1500! I am SO thankful to those who have donated. Even with the insurance Honey has, this huge amount raised is still only a fraction of the amount the vets bills are. I never thought we would raise this incredible amount, hence setting the targets so much lower to begin with. A HUGE thank you to all who have been so kind to my friends. They didn't even know I had done this at first, I just knew that with everything else going on in their personal lives, they could do with a little kindness and good luck. So thank you to those kind hearted souls so have a made a massive difference to such a deserving couple and their gorgeous Honey. ❤️
