Honduras Medical Mission Trip

Hey guys, my name is Sarah! I'm in my second semester of nursing school at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston.

My goal is to raise $2,000. The main proceeds of this GoFundMe will go towards the Houston Shoulder to Shoulder non-profit program, who use the money to supply medications for the Santa Ana Clinic in Honduras. A small portion will be used to cover the cost of my travels.

I will be working as part of the Houston Shoulder to Shoulder's medical brigade to provide primary care to the community of Santa Ana and the surrounding area.


As part of the brigade, I will also be able to assist with implementing public health education and research projects to improve health and self-sufficiency at the community level and increase the impact of clinical interventions. 


This opportunity will provide me a life-changing experience to participate in global health care while allowing me to help provide much needed assistance to the underserved community of Santa Ana.
