Homicide Sgt. Mike Huff's Road to Independence
Donation protected
This man might be familiar to you. It is most likely because you have seen him on television whether it is on The Fist 48, Killer Unknown, or just on the nightly news. This is Tulsa Police Department's very own retired Homicide Sergeant, Mike Huff. Currently, Mike is the head of the Tulsa County Cold Case Task Force. Mike, along with our entire unit, work tirelessly for free. Approximately one year ago, Mike had a stroke. This stroke has caused immense damage to Mike's left side and to his eyesight. Mike is unable to read a book, read an email, drive a vehicle, recognize faces, and most importantly, solve homicides. There is a new device out called the Orcam-Pro that will allow him to read on a screen, read a book, recognize programmed faces and so much more. It will enable Mike to keep working as he has done tirelessly and selflessly for his 31 years in homicide. Mike is very special to me, not only as my boss but also as the lead investigator in the solving of my little sister's murder. I am pleading with you to assist in the purchase of this device which will cost approximately $5,000. If I had the means, I would pay for the entire device myself. Mike's medical bills are rising daily and we, as the citizens of Tulsa owe him such gratitude for the sacrifices that he has and continues to make to keep us safe. In order for us to be able to qualify for a $1,000 coupon on the Orcam-Pro, We must raise this money by Christmas. Please donate whatever you can so that we can keep this hero working!
