homeless to housing

my 10 year old son and i have been in a homeless shelter for three months. we were homeless in 2012 for four months. we got into a house last year but the heater was leaking carbon monoxide. the landlord would not fix it, so we were homeless again. i got approved for a low-income apartment but i have to come up with deposit, as well as get furniture. i don't have anything, even beds. my car transmission broke and i have been getting rides to interviews until i get a job and can save up to get it fixed. i am starting pharmacy tech training this week. i am also applying for dozens of jobs every week and i have had several interviews. i am doing all i can to improve our lives. i am not just sitting around asking to be supported. i don't like to ask for help but i just need a hand up to help us get into a place of our own so my son can have his own room again. thank you!
