Homelessness Awareness, a short film - Spokane WA

Hello! We are aspiring short film makers producing a film showcasing the hardships and pitfalls that the homeless population in Spokane faces. We do this to increase awareness and hopefully open our viewers eyes to the ever increasing challenges they face; and to encourage those in our community to help.

As well as spreading awareness in the community, this project will be used as an example in our upcoming college applications. We strive to create quality work and constantly aim to increase our skill set. The majority of our other projects are shot in a more documentary style, however, this project would follow a story and will be free from specific requirements that we would otherwise have to address. 

The story will feature heavy themes and will focus around a boy's journey after he is cast out of his living situation. He is forced to try and make it on the streets and begins to face the harsh realities of living homeless. 

The money we are raising will go directly to purchasing a portable lighting kit  so we are able to film in the coming dark evenings of the winter months.  If we reach past the amount needed for the lighting kit, the extra funds will go into purchasing props.
