Homegoing Assistance

My mother (a stroke survivor) paid on her insurance plan for years until she said she received a letter from her life insurance company stating it was paid in full and she no longer had to make anymore payments. I found out that was a mistake. A couple months ago my mom was diagnosed with congestive heart failure so she opted to have a stent put in so she could breath better. Only thing is the stent was placed fine but her respiration and blood pressure plummeted which resulted in her being placed on life support and passing a few days later. After contacting her insurance company I was informed that the letter she received wasn't about plan being paid in full but stated she had a reduced amount to pay instead and that they hadn't received a payment since 2013 and as a result only had $481 due to her. So now we're trying to have a service and then have her cremated but the total is $3000 all together. Help is needed with the final arrangment.
