Home Sweet Home: Tabita Orphanage

Home Sweet Home. What is a home? What does your home mean to you?  Well for these kids in Tabita Orphanage, they will never have the chance to find out for themselves.  Hi. My name is Manasvi Guduru and I am a thirteen-year-old middle schooler at Mason Middle School. I created the Home Sweet Home: Tabita Orphanage Fundraiser.  My mom and dad are both from India. Ever since I was a little girl, I have always admired the culture and festivities of India. But not everything in India is great. The town where my mother grew up in has an orphanage called Tabita Orphanage. There is a very small population of people in my mother's hometown and many have no idea of the orphanage's existence and problems.  This orphanage is run by a couple with children of their own. The building that is used has extremely poor standards. The walls are broken down, the roof has many holes, and there are no doors. Not only is the building intensely damaged, but the kids don't get a proper amount of food and don't have proper clothing as well. There are 50 kids and only 2-3 people to take care of each and every one of them.  I am lucky enough to be living in the land of the free and the home of the brave. I have a nice house and amazing parents who love and protect me every single day. These kids... don't. The sweet orphans are precious and they don't deserve these kinds of living conditions. I want to use the donations to make the building more stable and safe for every single child.  Even the smallest amount of money will help these kids have a safe childhood and shelter.  Please donate to support these beautiful kids and make a child smile :)
