Home going Expenses for Chris West

My name is Louretha Bryant. On Wednesday, May 10, 2023; my baby boy Christopher West (24) was giving a ride to an acquaintance when his vehicle was riddled with bullets by an unknown assailant. My son died in his vehicle on the scene never having a chance to flee for his life.

I am heartbroken and in disbelief that my child's life was cut short by gun violence. For those who know Chris and those that don't...he was a kind and gentle soul. Always willing to offer a helping hand and go out of his way for others.

Chris wasn't into the street life. He worked to provide for himself. He lost his life giving a ride to someone in need. He was in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Chris is loved and cared for by many. For him to lose his life this way is unimaginable and hurts our family deeply. I have to bury my baby boy...this hurts, I am numb trying to understand why...why did this have to happen to him...my heart is broken.

Unfortunately, Chris did not have life insurance and we are in need of donations to give him the burial that he deserves and needs. Any amount is appreciated.
