Home Flooded!...Among other things..Need a miracle

My name is Courtney Holt and I never thought I would try anything like GoFundMe but this situation that my family and I are going through hit us like a freight train and at the worst time possible. The man you see in the picture is the absolute love of my life and the most hard-working, genuine, big hearted man I know other than my dad. He literally would take his shirt off a million times over for people in need of help. Him and his son have been thru hell and my kids and I have as well and us meeting was the best thing that ever happened to me. This man literally saved my life more than once! He deserves to have the world handed to him if you ask me! My dad(God rest his soul) never even liked anyone I was ever with and so needless to say love wasn't there either but my dad was the kind of man that could read most about a person just thru a simple handshake and I'm here to tell you I'm 31 and in all my years on this earth my dad was never once wrong about a person and their intentions. I met Glen September 19, 2019 and he changed my whole life from day one! My dad told me one thing before he died and until now Glen didn't even know but he told me that he never believed in holding on too tightly to people but a week before he passed he said "Courtney, that man is your prayers and mine being answered and if you don't hold on tight I just might have to actually kick your ass, because that man there is the true definition of real, genuine love and I love him for the man he is for you, your kids and his own. He is who I've prayed for, for you. He truly is your future if you are smart enough to reach out and hang on." For my dad to say he loved him let alone everything else he said meant more than I can ever express to any of you. With all this being said here is the situation: Last summer I fell at a campground and hurt my knee that has already been bad since I was 13 from a sports accident. After the fall I went thru a butt load of testing and doctor appointments and eventually was informed that I have peripheral neuropathy and basically I was dying. We were heartbroken and have been just trying to enjoy time while we have it but something happened at the end of July 2021. We were getting ready for our trip down south for his family reunion and we broke out in a rash with crater like holes in our skin and feeling sick as hell. It happened right after trying to clean our barn so we thought it stemmed from that so we went thru all possibilities and treatments....stemming from fleas, scabies, mites, worms and other parasites and other things as well but as of yesterday the answer to everything stemming all the way back to the peripheral neuropathy diagnosis. I also suffer from Cptsd and for those of you who don't know what that is...its like ptsd on steroids is how we explain it. The thing is I'm not an angry person and my intentions are always good but the last year and a half things in both of us had changed...we became angry and short on patience and we acted like people we were absolutely not and everyone just thought I was this monster that came in and destroyed his life but as of yesterday that all got answered too. We found out black mold is literally taking over our home and with a home built in 1889 it is just simply irreversible and its heartbreaking because while I've only spent 2 years here. Glen and his son have lived here for 10 years this was supposed to be the last stop, his place to settle down. As of yesterday that was ripped away. We have literally spent the last 3 weeks and almost $1200 to save not only our home but ourselves. We literally have $40 to our name and have to find a new place to call home or tear down and completely rebuild from the ground up here. We have no idea how we are going to do any of it and this is not up for negotiation because I found out I have mold poisoning and all my symptoms clear back to last summer are because of black mold. I literally have every symptom of mold poisoning from head to toe. Mental, physical and emotional...all of it and we aren't even sure if all my issues are reversible. We are all gonna have to go thru mold detox treatment which can take from 6 months to 2 years to completely clean out of your body. So with that and not knowing where we are gonna call home or how we are gonna afford any of it at all because I'm on disability and he is self employed, he is a kick ass mechanic of 35+ years and has had the established business since 2016. With open sores and illness and time put into trying to save the house when we thought we still could we have not been able to work on anything without risking our health even more than it already is at risk. With all this being said we are by no means expecting to get what the goal says. I came up with that number bc that is what this property we live on would cost to buy and thats also about the cost of a new mobile home but would also cover us if we have moving expenses and the medical bills are getting ready to roll in like crazy on top of it all. We don't do these things...I never thought I'd ever use this site but we are in a very bad situation and we are drowning mentally,emotionally and financially and just want a safe place for us and our children to call home. Just praying for help for a fresh start! Glens son is 18 and autistic and he fought his abusive mother for custody of him for ten years and I have to youngins my daughter is 11 and my son is 5 and we just need help giving them a place that is safe and secure so we can just live. Until then even some help to get us out of this place in a hotel room or temporary housing would be a blessing.
