Home fire during the holidays.

Hi, my name is MJ Pappin and I am fundraising for two of the most giving people I know. Kate & Sly & Fergus are safe, but lost their home to a house fire last night. A fire that started at a neighbours and took over their home as well.

This family is absolutely incredible and the first to help out anyone at any time. They are certainly in shock but also thankful no one was hurt. They would never in a million years ask for help but I know they are loved by so many people who are concerned for them and want to do something….

I’ve set up a Go Fund Me account to help them over the short term with any emergency items they may need while they figure out how to sort out their go forward after this tragedy.

If you know Kate & Sly, you know how Big their hearts are….Let’s try to ease these next few days, weeks, months so they can catch their breath and find the strength to move forward during a very overwhelming time.

Please give them a few days over the holidays to adjust to the shocking situation. They are safe with family and staying with friends, I just don’t want them to be overwhelmed even more so feeling obligated to respond to everyone who is concerned for them. I am sure they will reach out when they feel ready. And I am sure, they will appreciate the love & support in the meantime.

Thank you in advance to everyone who chooses to help out in this way. Every little bit helps and when you don’t have the words for something so devastating just knowing you are thinking about and sending prayers to Kate, Sly and their golden retriever Fergus will certainly offer them comfort.
