For Mrs. Naomi Shelia Smith,
Our mother, Mrs. Naomi Shelia Smith, since the moment she found out she was diagnosed with cancer she has never wavered in her resolution that God would deliver her from sickness. She has always praised God even through the pain and has shown her family that by her actions and willingness to do whatever was required of her in order to bring about a full recovery. We have never doubted for a second that this strong God fearing women would be able to handle the burden that had been set upon her shoulders. She is the greatest mother in the world.
There was a time when devastation had torn apart her home and Hurricane weather toppled several trees and limbs causing devastation at her home. Her praises went up to thank God. "God kept us here and done so much more. To God be the Glory. My Protector. He Delivers like no one can." She loves to worship and pray.
Every since we can remember she has supported her husband in all his endeavors and prayed for him as much as all her children for our well being and for us to walk in faith and be as God fearing as she is. As a women of Christ she has incorporated in all her children the hunger to know God. She has shown by example what a person who walks in faith should live. She lives a life with love for her family, joy for the life god gave her, peace in the midst of her anguish, patience to keep her family's peace, her kindness to others everyday, goodness to understand herself, gentleness in her actions, faithfulness in her steps and self-control of her mind. She has taught us how to walk in faith.
We have a goal of raising as much as possible each month to pay for the house loan. We want to pay off her home which she and her family have lived in, had lasting memories of love, hope and faith for the past 30 plus years. The rest will be used to make repairs on such a long standing home as required.
This is a great stress for our mother and the family. We ask that you grace us with your donation if able or send your love to Mrs. Naomi Smith.
Even in the midst of great tragedy she is always thinking of others.
"...we truly recognize God's presence and his keeping power. We all have a lot to be thankful for... We thank God for your and other family members recovery and know he is blessing the Clavon Family through the sickness, passing of family and the storm. God is Faithful to heal the sick, comfort the grieving family and keep us when the storm is raging. What a Mighty God We Serve." She is always praising god through difficulty and has taught us how to praise and worship god as well.
