Home and Possessions Lost in Tragic House Fire

Hi, my name is Lindsey, a neighbor and friend of Nik Gregov. On July 29th Nik lost his home, car and all physical possessions after his house was struck by lightning and caught fire. Nik had just returned home minutes after the strike and, by the grace of God, was able to run inside to rescue his beloved dog, Bowie. Fortunately, both Nik and Bowie are safe and without harm.

Despite the prompt response of the Dekalb fire department, Nik’s home was engulfed in flames within minutes, and at this time, it’s believed that nothing is salvageable.

While Nik does have homeowner’s insurance, we all know that will take a while to kick into effect. This request for funds is to help him with immediate relief – a place to stay, meals and clothes, transportation to/from work, supplies for Bowie, etc.

As many of you know, most of Nik’s family lives overseas so he doesn’t have a lot of help state-side. Fortunately, we live on one of the best streets, in the best neighborhood and I know everyone wants to do their part to show Nik they care.
