Holly's Breast Cancer Journey

Our dear friend Holly Cubitt has been fiercely fighting her way through chemotherapy treatments after her recent breast cancer diagnosis.
She has gone through 5 chemo treatments so far, and has one more left. Holly will then be travelling to Kelowna to embark on the next steps in this journey. She is facing a double mastectomy then 5 weeks of radiation treatments after she is healed. She carefully chose Kelowna for the next step so she can leave her two wee ones with her Mom in the nearby town of Sicamouse. Unfortunately, her husband Matt is unable to stay home from work much longer, so Grande Prairie as an option for surgery and radiation just isn’t feasible. Being in Kelowna will allow her access to her children during this difficult time, which will be key to her recovery. Holly’s amazing mama has been digging into her savings and flying into Grande Prairie for each round of Hollys chemo. She is prepared to spend this time with her grandkids…and do anything to help her daughter.
Holly needs to head to Kelowna next week for pre op appointments and to schedule her surgery and radiation. The first round of funds raised will be used for her travel costs to Kelowna and back.
My name is Heidi Isaac. I am a close friend of this little family. I live in Sexsmith, AB. All funds raised will go directly into Holly and Matt's bank account and will be used for medical travel expenses, to ease living costs while Matt is off work, and to help with child care and living expenses when Holly is undergoing surgery and recovery.
