UPDATE: Holly’s cancer has progressed, and she now has limited options.
As time is of the essence, Holly is booked to go to Mexico and try treatment options that are not approved in Canada – she has nothing left to lose, and limited time to move on this.
Can we ask you one more time, if there is anything left to give towards this treatment – will you?
Holly’s Story:
Our beloved friend and family member Holly Klos (Hamilton), has been struggling with cancer since the beginning of 2017. What started as a sore back, grew into Stage 4 Cancer, and has spread to multiple areas of her body. She has been diligent in making many health and lifestyle changes and has been on medication for the past year that she and her doctor had hoped would keep her stable for many years to come, however her last scan in February 2018 showed progression in her liver.
Unfortunately, at the time of her diagnosis she was in between jobs after working all her adult life, and is not able to collect income from any of the employment plans to which she paid into throughout her working career and has not had an income for the past year and half. Hence the fundraising!
This has left her not only with the stress of dealing with such a devastating disease, but the stress of what she and Erik are facing financially.
I am asking you to please give, with your whole heart, to help Holly.
I’m sure many of you have been touched by cancer in some way, whether it has been a family member, a friend, or you yourself - the devastation that cancer causes to not only the person struggling, but the whole family, is enough to rock anyone’s world – let’s not let it take another one of our own.
Holly has given us all so much, and now it’s time to join her on this journey of recovery, and freedom from a disease that will not define her.
Please give, with hope, and an open heart.

P.S. – Holly has had a hard time reaching out for help as this is a very private situation that she has had to make public in order to set up this page. The funds have so far, and will continue to be given to her and Erik to help treat her condition at this time. #helphollyheal
